TV Presenter Aisling O Loughlin Launches National Fertility Week

TV presenter Aisling O Loughlin and fertility specialist Dr Phil Boyle have launched a new fertility website, www.fertilityweek.ie, ahead of National Fertility Week which runs from Monday 2nd to Sunday 8th November.

National Fertility Week aims to raise awareness about fertility in general and the reasons behind the increasing number of couples struggling to conceive.

The new website created by Pillar Healthcare was set up to provide a free information resource that can help those trying to conceive. The site encompasses all things fertility related, from natural therapies to nutrition, advice about attending a clinic, plus much more.

Pillar Healthcare is an Irish company that was set up in 2012 by Irish entrepreneur Mark Whitney. Pillar Healthcare produces the leading (clinically studied) nutritional supplement ‘pre-Conceive’ for improving fertility in both men and women.  Infertility is a growing problem across society and Pillar Healthcare developed ‘pre-Conceive’ in response to a need for a therapeutic aid and functional nutritional supplement for improving fertility markers.

Speaking about National Fertility Week and www.fertilityweek.ie, founder of Pillar Healthcare, Mark Whitney says “We created this website to make it as easy as possible for people looking for fertility information to find all they need to know in the one place. We know from our customers that fertility information can be a minefield with many people not knowing where to start. We have come together with doctors, professionals and experts in fertility in Ireland and around the world, to bring together a factual and helpful information hub to those who seek it. We have some amazing contributors who have helped put this site together and help raise awareness about fertility.”

The information on the site is be written by experts in their field from around the world. Contributors to the website include Mark Whitney from Pillar Healthcare; fertility specialists Dr David Smallbone, Dr Phil Boyle and Dr Preben Christensen; one of UK’s leading experts in the field of nutrition and naturopathy Gareth Zeal; Nutritional Therapist Ashling Ward; Psychotherapist, Nurse & Midwife, Helena Tubridy; and leading acupuncturist Mairead Fahy, to name but a few.

Dr Phil Boyle, who is one of the most well regarded fertility specialists in Ireland highlights the importance of raising awareness “People are waiting later in life to start families and are just assuming it will be plain sailing, unfortunately this is not always the case.  The aim of National Fertility Week is to raise awareness about fertility for both men and women across the board and encourage people to get their fertility tested and make themselves more aware of the options out there.  This new website is a great place for people to start when looking to get information and I was delighted to be one of the contributors”.

pre-Conceive

pre-Conceive is a nutritional supplement, manufactured in Ireland. pre-Conceive is Europe’s most therapeutic supplement, that has been clinically shown to improve key fertility parameters in BOTH men and women. It is independently recommended by Irish fertility specialists and clinics.  In a landmark study across Europe, pre-Conceive was shown to improve key fertility parameters in both men and women.

pre-Conceive combined with nutritional advice improves the levels of key fertility and nutritional parameters, though a larger study is required to validate if pre-Conceive can improve overall fertility in patients.

pre-Conceive contains 31 key nutrients that impact on our fertility. Some of these will be well known, like Folic Acid, B Vitamins, Zinc etc. but pre-Conceive also contains nutrients like NAC, Co-Q-10 and Arginine as well. The reason why pre-Conceive has been clinically shown to improve fertility parameters, compared to other substances on the market, is because we adhere to the clinical research. pre-Conceive supplies the THERAPEUTIC dosages of these nutrients, in forms that are well absorbed by the body. For example, it uses a non-constipating iron and a revolutionary new form of Q10, that is better absorbed that any other preparations.
